A little piece in my local paper this morning that confirms what most of us
suspected and supports BFHI:

DUMMY PROOF
Infants who suck dummies are more prone to infections than those who do not,
researchers have found. Bristol University scientists have discovered dummy
use in babies aged under six months leads to a higher incidence of ear ache,
fever, wheezing, colic and diarrhoea.

Can anyone point me to where this research is published, or where I can get
more information, preferably electronically. ASAP please and email
privately as well as to the list as I am really busy this week. I am going
to New Zealand on Saturday and will be giving a presentation on the effects
of bottle teats and dummies (pacifiers) on the infant. I would love to add
this research to my presentation.
