My wish is that those who feel LLL or the WAB don't support women in the
real world read to the 6th Revised Edition, and read the ten concepts of
LLL philosophy, and *then* let's discuss it critically.
As far as I know, LLL is one of the longest lasting non-profits in the
world. One reason that this is so is that LLL is responsive to those it
serves. No, LLL does not bend to public opinion or change it's
philosophy in order to stay politically correct. Every now and then,
the discussion within LLL about whether philosophy is being
compromised is rehashed. It's always enlightening.
I say to anyone who wonders, or wants to get past an old hurt: read the
philosophy (ten statements), and then see if you really have a problem
with it. Then remind yourself that even though you have always been who
you are, you have grown and transformed in response to your experiences
and the people in your life over all your years.
