A mom with a 16 month old, called this morning. She has developed severe
allergies to pollens, especially, Juniper. She has not seen an allergist as
she did not develop this allergy until just before her pregnancy with this
little person, but each year it has gotten worst. She has tried several
over-the-counter meds, including Claritin (Loratadine), but they are only
effective for a few days. She has also used the nasal strips. I suggested
she schedule an appointment with an allergist and be sure to tell him that
she is nursing and wants to protect the nursing/milk supply. Does anyone
have a suggestion for her? I checked the archives for '99 and nothing came
up for this topic.
