I would very much appreciate it if anyone could let me know the current
status of H.R. 3531. I am particularly interested in its status in
relation to the raft of other b/f and employment related Bills, which have
been introduced into the House of Representatives in recent months. These
include H. R. 1163, the Breastfeeding Promotion and Employers' Tax
Incentive Act of 1999, H.R. 1478, The Pregnancy Discrimination Act
Amendments of 1999 and the Right to Breastfeed Act,
H.R. 1848.
Do these other Bills cancel out various sections of H.R. 3531 or is this
another way of trying to get the various provisions of H.R. 3531 accepted?
Thanks.
