Hi,
Ectopic breast tissu is quite more frequent than we might think. Most women
who get hard golf ball shapes under their armpits when the milk comes in,
have ectopic tissu, some have an output (sort of a niple), others do not.
However, it is never a reason not to breastfeed. The gland involutes if no
milk is taken out...Applycold compresses, ice or cabbage and wait...It will
involute and she will be able to breastfeed without any problem.
