From what I saw in NICU is that the breastfeeding or expressing milk rates
are probably higher than for moms of full-term babies. I think moms of
preemies are at least educated enough to know how important the liquid gold
is, even if their babies have to be supplemented. The motivation level
appears higher when the baby's life is at stake.
