<< Um, if no food is allowed in the YMCA pools and hot tubs, then no
lactating
mother should be allowed to go in, breastfeeding or not; I mean, she
has
FOOD in her breasts. >>
When I related this story to my dh, he said "Well there's going to me
more food in the pool from leaking if she's not allowed to nurse."
This happened to someone in my previous place of residence. About a nine
month old baby at the time, the mum was in the pool in the corner with
her partner partly shielding her, and she got the line about no food and
drink. Come to think of it, it was a YMCA. We lived in Guelph, about a
30 minute drive from Hamilton.
