One LC said that after washing her hands she always makes a point of coming
into the room where the parents are while drying her hands on a paper
towel, then throwing it away in the room.  That way, they *know* that
nothing has touched those hands since they were washed.  I've adopted that
little nicety myself, whenever paper towels are available.
