Brings back memories of my son's first birthday. My very best
friend came to visit from out of town and bought a beautiful cake for
him. Despite my warnings, everyone thought it would be inhuman
to deny him a bite of his cake. Still have the picture of his smiling
face - complete with huge red rash which sprang out immediately
as his skin contacted the cake and frosting. Washed it off right
away and berated myself for days for not being stronger in resisting
this nonsense.

He eats his cakes now with no problem (21 years later, but still no
milk to wash it down).

Warmly,
Sharon Knorr, BSMT, LLLL, IBCLC
