Research made easy-
- print this and save it

using  http://www.Pediatrics.org
click on medline button
enter terms in blank box
click on search

Hints for sucessful hunting:

- one word BREASTFEEDING will give you way too much to look through
- keep adding key terms one at a time and hitting search again to narrow
the articles to what you're actually looking for

If you end up with fewer than 10 or 15 articles you've probably narrowed
too far - you may have lost some good ones because of wording the author
chose to use.

You can also click on "related articles" and the computer will find
articles similar to the one you are looking at.

Redo your search using similar terms - spouse vs. father vs. family ....

Remember - the abstract is not the "whole story" [just reading the abstract
is the eqivalent of buying a box of chocolates and eating only the box, not
the contents] What is in the article may be not very well done or the
conclusion may not be supported by the evidence produced - the abstract is
the "packaging".

Happy searching, happy learning!
