I was asked by a fellow Leader for ideas on helping a mom who was
ill-informed about the usage guidelines on using gentian violet and used it
about 7x a day for a couple days.  Now she has sore (pain 10/10) cracked
nipples and baby (16 mo) has sores in his mouth.  I thought lanolin would be
helpful for the nipples, and of course discontinuing the gv, but what can be
done for relief for the baby's mouth?  Any other ideas for the mom's
nipples?  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
