Dear all
Having already posted a couple of times, here is a quick biography.
I am a medical doctor with training also in general medicine, tropical medicine, paediatrics and obstetrics and gynaecology. My main interests in terms of breast feeding are
policy issues
breastfeeding epidemiology
issues around paid employment and breastfeeding
human rights and infant feeding
I do other stuff as well (aid and development work, teaching medical students and others, tropical diseases, indigenous health) and work part time for a medical service for homeless and at risk youth
I have two children aged two and four, and am glad that both still breastfeed their dolls. (They also cut their hair off and write all over their faces with biro - what does that mean??)
I have found lactnet very useful and a great way to pick up lots of information. Thanks to the net mothers for all their hard work.
PS IF ANYONE HAS AN EMAIL FOR RAMON CASTANO IBCLC FROM COLOMBIA can they email me privately. He used to subscribe but is no longer on the list.
