If it is true that these babies have never nursed, I would have to agree
with Pat. However, because I am part of a foreign adoption ring here in
Cincinnati, I know that a lot of kids come over here with experience at
breastfeeding (esp. true from China and India, it seems) and for them it
seem quite comforting to be able to go to breast.
How does this woman know these babies are not being breastfed? It is
common to wet nurse in poor countries and also, it is not unusual for
birth moms to keep their babies until the adoption is final.
Just some things to think about!
