I get hives, or at least a rash, with natural source multivitamins
due to the PABA content. I suggested Cher, the original poster,  ask
the mum  if she has ever had trouble with a PABA sunscreen.  When I
take supplements, I find I need to take them individually rather
than as a multivitamin. B-complex also contains PABA.
