Dear Renate,
How about displaying a huge poster divided into 100 (any number will do,
the more, the better) boxes. Have contestants or teams race to fill in
the blanks with a benefit or advantage to breastfeeding. You could
organize each row into sub-categories, such as benefits of breastfeeding
for mom, baby, family, dad, planet, etc. . .
Another game is to have a "Beautiful Breastfed Baby Photo Contest"
Contact local businesses for possible donations. Display all the photos
on a huge board and have the public "vote" for thier favorite picture.
The money collected can be given to a breastfeeding support Group, or
can be used to purchase breastfeeding bkks, handouts to be used at a
hospital. Sounds like a great day for breastfeeding. Hope these
suggestions help!
