Can't find this in the archives.
One month old baby is having problems. Nursed fine for 3 wks. Then
got gassy and fussy, and BMs changed to hard yellow and very foul smelling.
Mom started pumping (she's going back to work). Her milk COMES OUT
directly into pump milk collector full of lumps and smelling very sour. It
won't
mix up either. This is the state of the milk the moment it leaves her
breast
(not a storage problem).
Mom/Baby are not on any meds. No signs of plugged ducts, mastitis, etc.
Mom took baby off breastmilk this week and switched to formula. Says baby
is acting happy again. Mom is pumping until we get an answer. Per my
request, She has done separate breast samples, day/night samples, etc.
and ALL milk is lumpy and spoiled smelling. Help!!
