I just returned from an errand and heard on the radio, a talk show host
named Judy Jarvis. She's new to our listening area. Anyhow, she likes to
bring up topics, such as why educate all Americans about car seats when only
a few stupid people don't figure out how to use them properly (her words,
not mine). Today was spoiled babies. Basically, talking about toddlers and
preschoolers and young kiddos, but she threw in an opinion on Ezzo methods
and how it came about because of out of control kids. She disagrees with
the Ezzo methods and I was starting to have kind thoughts about her, when
she started in on breastfeeding and night nursing. She basically said that
nursing every 3 hours at night (plus she threw in the family bed for extra
emphasis) is wrong and leads to spoiling your baby, and yes, babies can be
spoiled. She blamed parents for all of these evils and never talked about
how to properly parent.
I do believe I won't listen to Judy anymore, she annoys me.
Unfortunately, the people who call in are happy to agree with her. I think
it would be great to have someone more family friendly have a talk show, it
won't be me, I am known for blurting out gems of wisdom at cocktail parties
"Formula kills babies" thereby putting a screeching halt to all
conversation.

conditioner on in the cars to cool them down. This is NOT normal!
