Pamela Morrison, Joy Anderson and others have been speculating about whether
the feeding frenzies at 2 wks, 6 wks, 3 mos, 6mos etc that we all know as
growth spurts may not really be more closely related to mom's supply dips than
to babies' increased needs, especially in view of Peter Hartman's research
suggesting that babies needs are steady until about 6 months.
So I wonder: do bottle feeders have a convention of growth spurts at those
ages? Presumably that would not be related to supply! Anyone know?
