Update:
One person suggested the covering was a nipple shield, it isn't as there
is no opening for the milk to come out
Another suggested it was part of a belly dancer's costume, which is what
I thought too.
And another didn't know what it was but loved the idea that there was
good thoughts in regard to milk supply, I like this one best.
I haven't heard from anyone from the Mideast or Asia who may know just
what it is. For those of you who have no clue about what I'm talking
about...here is part of the original posting:
it is from the mid-East or India or a similar part of the world. It was
pinned or sewed on the pregnant or nursing mother's clothing over the nipple
to give her a good milk supply. It is metal, silver looking (I'm not
familiar with the different types of metal), round with a nipple-like
projection that had a blue tip, and lots of dangling metal pieces that would
make a nice jingling sound whenever you moved.
