In response to the question about Milk Thistle and Blessed Thistle, no they
are not the same herb.  Milk Thistle (Silybum Marianum) has a much more
direct effect on the liver than Blessed Thistle (Carbenia benedictus) which
is more commonly used as a galactagogue.
