There seems to be a big ignorance in the Netherlands about the use of honey
in newborns. I hear a lot about it's use. Eg, just heard today that in 2
academical hospitals they give pacifiers with honey on it to newborns.
I want to warn these hospitals about the use of honey. Now my question to
you: does anyone knows about articles about possible contaminations of
botulism of honey? I already have an article about the danger of botulism
(it is referenced by McKenna in his article about co-sleeping sids and bf,
in Breastfeeding Perspectives)
TIA!
