Carolyn Westcott wonders about night sweats & BF'ing. I think it's not
uncommon, especially in the early weeks and MOST especially if mom has had a
C/S (or even a tubal ligation, theoretically, though I don't know about that
from experience). Night sweats (like hot flashes only worse, IMHO), usually
seen in and around menopause, happen when estrogen is low, which it is
during BFing. Any surgery in the abdominal/pelvic region can interrupt the
normal blood flow (and hence the normal hormone distribution) for a little
while. It will all settle down eventually.
