Friends:
I'm working on World Breastfeeding Week information for the ILCA Action
Kit and need your help and experience with the following:
-- do you know any primary or secondary schools with policies addressing
breastfeeding during school hours among teachers and staff? In my
experience, it appears to be difficult for teachers to get away from the
classroom or have any appropriate facilities to express milk and/or
breastfeed baby.
-- Do you know any secondary schools or colleges/universities that have
breastfeeding facilites/opportunities for students? eg., on-site
childcare, facilites to express milk, etc. I'm especially interested in
policies and procedures.
-- I'd also like any policies you may know of concerning breastfeeding/
breast milk expression among medical school students/residents. I've
heard in the past that combining breastfeeding and residency can be
quite difficult. Your experiences and/or stories would be good, too.
Please email me privately, as I am currently nomail (on my way to
Albuquerque to play!).
Thanks to everyone!
