Does anyone have information on a letter to the editor in the New England
Journal of Medicine which discusses breastfeeding and smoking? I understand
it discussed the idea that the breastmilk smelled of tobacco when the mothers
had smoked 2 cigarettes within 20 minutes and pumped. It goes on to say this
may lead children to
cigarette smoking later in life. I guess the Associated Press picked up on it
and it's also may be discussed on a local show here in town. If anyone can
tell me where to find info on this on the internet I'd appreciate it. I'm
trying to find this for a co-worker. TIA, Sue
