Hi All,
I find myself reading (enjoying and learning a lot from) the posts about the
baby with Down Syndrome, and I find myself saying "It is not a Downs baby,
it is a baby with Downs Syndrome. A favorite Lactnut of mine once pointed
this out to us (a year or more ago) and I just can't shake it. So, I am
going to be really picky and ask that we "watch our language" and be
sensitive to situations like this. The child is a child first, the
condition comes last. :)
