I don't know about you, but in my years of growing up, we didn't much
look at or touch our naked bodies. The women of my generation raised
their consciousnesses *and* their skirts (because we did not, as a rule,
wear pants), mirrors in hand, to finally begin to get to know
themselves!
I didn't take my daughter to the doctor about breast buds, but I did
consult a children's book on it--ha.
