Aloha,
I expect we'll be seeing this quite often for the harvesting of cord
blood. I got into a long discussion with a local hospital rep on this
topic at a baby expo last year. I am sure that if someone in my family
was in the position to benefit from such a procedure, I'd be very, very
thankful to the donors; however, the cord has never been cut on any of
my babies till the pulsing has stopped. I feel there is a very good
reason that they get "every last drop."
