I suggest that mom do nothing except comfort measures to relieve the
gas/cramps. Perhaps using a rectal thermometer to gently stimulate and help
the baby pass gas -- perhaps breastfeeding to stimulate the gastro-colic
reflex to help pass the stool sooner -- baby bicycle movements -- a warm water
bottle to the baby's tummy -- the "colic" hold -- ???
