What a wonderful conversation that must have been. Let me tell you that it
continues to pay off. My 19 yr old daughter, away at college and working a
waitstaff job, went to bat for a nursing mom in her restaraunt a few weeks
ago. Mom was nursing discreetly, and waitstaff was in the back making a huge
fuss over it. My Sarah immediately invited herself into the conversation,
gave them a 15 min mini-inservice on the wonders of breastfeeding, and made
sure that no one harrassed the mom! After she glowing related the incident to
me, I told her I'd be happy to send her my cloth breast, slides and posters
for a full inservice to the entire staff ;-D.
