The only reason I can thnk of for a desire for such a high epidural rate is so
that the anesthesia department will be kept busy!!LOL!! A department with this
stance clearly does not have the mother's best interests at heart (unless she
wants an epidural, of course). My guess is that the OB department in this
hospital has a very high intervention rate,also. To bad.....I'm glad I don't
work there.
