Okay, I guess I should have included more information in my last post.
This little baby was stable, very alert, rooting and able to latch on
and nurse well. Its true that she did fall asleep after a few minutes
(5-6). What made me so mad was that she was only "allowed" to "try"
once a day, and that nobody would consider using an sns instead of
feeding a bottle, or explore other ways of supplementing the
breastfeeding. If anyone can give me a good reason why breastfeeding
should be limited to once-a-day attempts, then please fill me in,
because I'm at a loss.TIA.
