Karen asked..... <1) What do YOU do when you have a med not in Hale that
you want info on, especially a new drug?>
Karen, in my state we have a very well run poison control center that has
lots of good information on the transfer of drugs during lactation. I am
not sure if this is common elsewhere. If the drug in question is not
listed in any of their references, they usually let me speak to one of the
docs. I do not have any information on the drug in question and actually
did call to see if they did....They said that if it was not in Hale, for me
to call back Monday and speak to Dr. Garrettson :) You may want to see if
you have this kind of great resource in your area.
