I do remember reading about possible reaction to cabbage if allergic to
sulfa. I would think a search with "sulfa and cabbage" in the search
would yield results. I remember posting that I used cabbage for
engorgement and I am very allergic to sulfa. No reaction. I also eat
cabbage without difficulty. So I think it would be a rare reaction.
However, I do ask moms about allergy to sulfa when recommending cabbage.
I would recommend a patch test first, or an alternate therapy, or at the
very least, to observe very closely for untoward response.
