Does anyone have any literature sources for reasons to not bind
engorged breasts ?  One  staff member has suggested it to a mother in
hospital, and another has told her it is not a good idea.  The first
staff member wants literature to support reasons for not doing so.

    Also what do people think of applying ice to grazed nipples before
the baby attaches and does anyone have any literature on this subject
also ?

    We are having differing opinions and problems with conflicting
advice in our unit at present and need some back up literature to help
us.  Please reply to me personally, as I am currently NOMAIL.
