Nancy,
I saw the same program with the anesthetized mother gorilla giving birth &
then being unable to bond & feed her own offspring.  I thought it was very
sad, not only for the gorillas but for the humans who give birth under similar
circumstances. If scientists understand these things about animals, why can't
others understand this about humans.
