Apologies for this off-topic query -- if anyone out there can refer me to a
good source of info on appropriate treatments for a severely prolapsed uterus,
I'd be grateful for a private email to let me know.   I have this query from a
mother of one of my moms (who is apparently under the mistaken impression that
knowing how to bf makes me a hcp  ;-o) --- she is perimenopausal (no period
9mos+, wears estrogen patch), her cervix is now visible from the vagina, and
her GYN wants to schedule a hysterectomy.  Appropriate / inappropriate?   Many
