Many of us have posted suggestions over the last few days for responding to
the upcoming episode of Chicago Hope. My telephone and e-mail have been quite
busy! As one of the script consultants for the Video News Release (NOT THE TV
SHOW like someone suggested!!) I wanted you all to know that the script was
changed slightly during the taping of the VNR. It is still important to
contact your local CBS affiliate and urge them to show all or part of this
piece. The VNR also contains about 4 minutes of additional sound bite footage
called B roll. B-roll is often well received by TV stations because it allows
them to use small bits of accurate information within their own coverage of
the story.
