Daypro is an NSAID. Generic name is oxaprozin. Should be
okay for nursing, but why is doctor recommending this med?
Does she have arthritis?-- if it's just for regular aches
and pains, then Ibuprofen is great-- Daypro is quite
expensive. Check recent posts on ibuprofen, relafen
(nabumetone), for discussion on long acting vs. shorter
acting NSAIDS.
