I believe there is a study that was done in either Central or South America
(my memory says Brazil, but I'm not positive) in which they did a LARGE study,
and found that children who were breastfed were less likely to be abused or
abandoned, even during times of crises and low food supply. I think
Pediatrics, but I'm not sure about that either. Does anyone else remember
this?
Jan Barger - in Wheaton, where it is snowing off & on again. And where I love
my children dearly but I DO NOT want them home from school AGAIN.
