I disagree with the warning about homeopathic remedies. It is constitutional
use that one needs an experienced, trained practitioner for. First aid use is
risk-free because the remedies are so low potency. If the mother has bruising,
Arnica would be very well indicated. If there is also nerve damage then
Hypericum may also be indicated. A 6x to 30 x potency would not result in a
healing crisis. No need to worry about it coming through milk, either. Even
low potency combination remedies are very ok to use and I wouldn't hesitate
for an instant to recommend them.

The whole point of homeopathy is to put the power back into the hands of the
consumer, where it belongs.

As in all methodologies, this method has grown and changed with new
information and changing needs. Gone are the days of strict adherence to
classical guidelines because we now know that combination remedies work
excellently! And they are far more convenient. I have used homeopathy for my
family for over eighteen years. My kids have never had antibiotics (except in
their polluted food sources) and we can count the times on one hand when we
had to visit the doctor for any reason. My children have learned how to self-
prescribe for first aid purposes as they grew old enough to understand the
concepts. I hope they carry these skills into adulthood because homeopathy is
safe and effective!
