don't feel so all alone. a few years back, working at a women's hospital in
Washington DC; when I told an OB resident that I was the lactation consultant
on that day he burst out laughing "a lac-ta-tion con-sul-tant!?! never heard
of that! you need to go on David Letterman - he would love that! I can just
imagine what Letterman would do with that!"
later, after setting that resident straight, I wrote Letterman. Well, he never
did write back nor did he invite me onto his TV show! I wanted to tell that
resident "HA! WRONG AGAIN curdled formula breath!"
