does anyone know about dandelion root?? i have used it with moms to increase
milk supply and decrease uterin contraction pain. also, i know it cleanses
liver and kidneys (helps rid epideral and excess water weight). BUT! I need to
know if anyone is familiar with it helping to keep billirubin levels down. had
a mom with a jaudice baby who was taking it bl was 13 when she stopped taking
it his bl jumped to 20
in a few hours. i think the dandelion was keeping it down!! of course ped made
her stop bfeed and use biliblanket and you know what happened next!  any info
out there!

also, one other thing trying to pass law in new york and new jersey to get
insurance cos to cover lactation visits in home 4-7 days postpartum. (fyi-
they cover enternal formulas $2500 p/y for the same diagnosis that are reduced
by bfeed. in other words
if they were breastfeeding they, in most cases, probably wouldnt need to have
formula)  any ideas would be helpful.  thanks a bunch!
