I'm helping write a paper on formula marketing - especially as it occurs in
and by health care facilities. I'd love to have your more unusual formula
marketing stories - Victoria's Secret coupons to the receptionist, ski
trips if the hospital reinstates the discharge packs, a new VCR set-up,
offers to help design the new central nursery, dinner at a fancy
restaurant, etc. And stories about how receptive the staff is to these
approaches, whether you feel it influences care of the breastfeeding mother
and in what ways. If you think we'd all like to hear it, use lactnet. If
you prefer, e-mail me privately. Thanks in advance for letting me excerpt
your comments (I expect to be including a page-long list of brief comments,
all anonymous).
