Today, as I was canning applesauce, I thought about the recent thread on
the above subject.    Has anyone considered sterilizing glass jars for EBM?
 We already sterilize some glass items for inhospital use (glass syringes
come to mind.)  As an aside, our hospital found it was cheaper and more
comfortable for our patients to use waterproof fabric pads in labor and
postpartum than the blue pads that stick to your bottom.  I wonder what the
cost comparison would be on glass jars versus plastic bags versus sterile
water bottles from the formula companies.  They really aren't "free".  I'll
stay away from that topic as it gets me heated up.
