Enjoying an historical novel recommended by my sil. Cold Mountain by
Charles Frazier. Time: around the Civil War. Commenting on differences in
life in Charleston and the mountains "...and women of every station suckled
their young, leaving the civilized trade of wet nurse unknown." Have a
cold and ache all over, decided reading in bed as best remedy! But Lactnet
beckoned. ah well. Sincerely,Pat in SNJ
