A breastfeeding coalition, Breastfeeding Advocates of Sarasota County
(Florida), met last night and wrote a list of talking points to assist
professionals in responding to questions they may get regarding breastfeeding
and dehydration. There are 9 points that they listed including general
breastfeeding information, how to know your baby is getting enough to eat,
risks and signs of dehydration, and phone numbers of local breastfeeding
support folks. This list is being distributed today to healthcare providers
in the county. This includes all the local hospitals, physicians offices, WIC
and Health Department sites. They are literally "papering" the county with
correct information.
Sounds like a positive, helpful response to me!
