No longer the norm to have newborn nurseries in UK hospitals (good) though
they do still exist.

All interventions (necessary, questionable, totally unnecessary and
harmful) can be done at mother's bedside. You'd think that would stop 'em
doing the questionable, totally unncessary and harmful ones, wouldn't
you....
