DeeDee,
I've had good luck cup feeding these babies.  When they feel no one's
forcing anything near the mouth, they will get the hang of it pretty
quickly.  Even in a hospital that won't allow cup feeding without a
doctor's consent, I have had no trouble getting permission to "try it"
when the baby was "rejecting the bottle".  In fact, Dads love to do
this.

The tongue bunching up at the back seems classic for the baby who was
vigorously suctioned after birth.
