Why would the pediatrician:

1. Give two weeks to resolve this problem?
2. Expect one ounce/day weight gain in a baby this age?
3. Not suggest expressing her milk and giving it, instead of weaning to
formula?
4. Barring everything, not suggest adding solids?

Why oh why is formula *always* the answer?

Letting the baby go hungry is not such a good idea. These babies do better
when they are put to the breast half asleep.
