Laura, Do you know how this has been diagnosed? Sometimes people see a white
tongue and are sure it is thrush. It is easy to take a swab from the baby's
mouth to confirm the diagnosis. If no Candida - probably the baby just has a
white tongue. If candida is present - then more treatment is needed. I find
miconazole oral gel MUCH more effective than nystatin oral drops - such a
pity it is not available in the US.
